What we hold, and why.

The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or tracking of any kind. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to type into our sign-up form.

What we collect

If you fill in the sign-up form, we receive the details you enter:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your job title
• Your company or organisation
• Your confirmation that you are happy to hear from us

Why we collect it

So that we can email you about the association: events, workshops, resources and news. That is the only reason we ask.

We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time and we will stop.

Server records

Our host records technical information needed to serve the site, such as your IP address, the pages requested and your browser type. These records exist to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use them to build a profile of you.

Who else sees it

The site is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores form submissions on our behalf. Netlify processes this data for us and operates servers outside the United Arab Emirates.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

For as long as you want to hear from us. Ask us to delete your details and we will remove them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email us at the address below.

If you are in the United Arab Emirates, your rights are set out in Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
